What is the Physical Education Centre (PEC)

 National Chung-Cheng University, located at the west side of southern middle Taiwan with wonderful weather all year long, has the most beautiful campus and comprehensive sport facilities. National Chung-Cheng University is renowned not only for the academic achievement in every department but also for the reputation of organizing sport and exercise events such as Universiade Games 2005 in Taiwan. PEC is also responsible for facilitating students, staffs and communities to be active in performance (competitive) sport, recreational sport and exercise by means of well-designed physical education courses. Also, managing student sport teams, maintaining sport facilities, and organizing sport camps for all generations are PEC’s missions. Our main task is to promote people's physical fitness and to establish their healthy life style. Through the PEC, Chung-Cheng University starts running the partnership with National Council on Physical Fitness and Sports and other national sports organizations, and thus the National Sport Training Base is established in April, 2006. Many national teams will be stationed in Chung-Cheng University including badminton, soccer, swimming, tennis and so on.
